About Us

United by the drive to create a better tomorrow

We are a team of solvers and makers who believe that design and engineering, when applied for the greater good, can change the world. Our diverse team includes experts in human-computer interaction, image processing, and assistive technology.

Our vision is a world where visual impairment is not a barrier to accessing high-quality education, fulfilling careers, and full participation in society. We envision a future where inclusive technologies, like our tactile tablets, are standard in classrooms and workplaces, ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. By pioneering advancements in assistive technology, we strive to create an inclusive and accessible digital landscape where all individuals, regardless of their abilities, can thrive and contribute meaningfully.

STORY AND FLIP

Our
Vision

Our Mission

At dVerse Technologies, our mission is to empower individuals with visual impairments by creating innovative, affordable, and accessible human-computer interface (HCI) devices. We are dedicated to bridging the disability wealth gap by providing the tools and technologies necessary for people with visual challenges to excel in education and professional fields, particularly in STEM. Through our products, we aim to foster inclusivity, enhance independence, and open up new opportunities for millions around the world.

The challenge

There are over 40 million people worldwide who are completely blind or have severe visual impairments. Around 70% of them are unemployed, and 30% have access to only low-paying jobs. This is largely due to the lack of inclusive tools in the workplace, limited job opportunities that allow for remote work, and the daily challenges they face in commuting.

By 2050, this number is set to increase significantly, exacerbating the unemployment rate. Traditionally, people with visual impairments were confined to jobs like craft making. However, the trend is changing, with numerous companies worldwide pledging to make their workplaces more inclusive.

Imagine a World Where Blind People Can learn Efficiently

CuriO is the world’s first computing interface specifically to chunk visual information from development environments and present it to blind users in an easy-to-comprehend way. It uses a multisensory approach, allowing users to touch and feel image structures, navigate through diagrams, and choose what to read out loud. This multisensory input reduces cognitive strain and increases efficiency.

  • Touch and Feel image structure: Navigate code hierarchy effortlessly.

  • Real-Time Audio Feedback: Immediate auditory descriptions of code elements.

  • Ergonomic Design: Clear work window and ergonomic buttons for ease of use.

The Solution: CuriO

The Future with CuriO

With CuriO, people with blindness can learn STEM concepts with the same competence, speed, and efficiency as their sighted peers. This opens up vast opportunities for high-paying jobs in the technology sector, allowing them to work from home and overcome the challenges of commuting.
